Spectre Dive Boat has teamed up with Dive Guides of the Channel Islands to offer public and private dive guides on every trip starting May 1st. Whether you're new to Channel Islands diving or looking for a more personalized experience, our guides are here to make your day on the water unforgettable.

Pricing is per person and includes your boat ticket, meals, snacks, and three guided dives. Choose the option that works best for you and book online to reserve your spot.

PUBLIC GUIDED DIVES

Public guided dives are a great option for divers who want expert guidance without the premium price tag. You'll be placed in a group of up to 6 divers and paired with an experienced guide for the day. Your guide assignment will be made the morning of the trip, and you'll meet them at the boat before departure.

Public guides are also available as a walk-up service on the day of the trip, but spots are first come, first served. We strongly encourage pre-booking online to guarantee your spot — walk-up availability is never guaranteed.

  • Boat ticket (departure from Ventura Harbor)

  • Three guided dives at the Channel Islands

  • Meals, drinks, and snacks onboard

  • Air fills

  • Group of up to 6 divers per guide

PRIVATE GUIDED DIVES

A private guide is the ultimate concierge diving experience. Your dedicated guide will reach out to you before the trip to introduce themselves, answer any questions, and help you prepare for the day. On the boat, they are exclusively yours — fully focused on you (and your group if booked for multiple people) for all three dives.

Private guides are perfect for divers who want one-on-one attention, personalized dive planning, or extra support in the water. It's the best way to experience the Channel Islands.

  • Dedicated guide exclusively for your group

  • Pre-trip contact from your guide to answer questions and plan your dives

  • Personalized, concierge-level attention throughout the day

CANCELLATION POLICY

Guided dive bookings follow the same cancellation policy as all Spectre dive trips. Full refunds are available if cancellations are made at least 7 days prior to the scheduled departure. No-shows and last-minute cancellations are not eligible for refunds or rescheduling, for any reason. If the captain cancels a trip due to weather or safety concerns, a full refund will always be issued.

Dive guides are independent professionals and are not members of the Spectre crew. Gratuity for your dive guide is separate from any crew tips and is always appreciated. If your guide made your day special, please consider tipping them directly.
